MIND YOUR ATTITUDE
Your ability to succeed in life often comes down to a single choice; how you react to what has been done to you in the past or is being done to you right now.
You can choose to become a victim of your circumstances or a victor! You can become bitter with those who oppose you or reject you, or you can choose to turn their negative comments into positive inspiration. If someone says to you "you are a loser, nothing good can ever come out of you", how do you react? Do you then spend the whole day feeling sorry for yourself and drowning in defeat?
Listen, you have no control over how people treat you, but you have control over how you react. The Psalmist adopted a good attitude when he woke up each morning and said;-
"This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it"
(Psalm 118:24)
You can do that too! Attitude goes beyond emotion, its a decision that you make. Your spouse can let you down, and you have no control over that, but how you react to that is entirely up to you. You can choose to revenge by throwing him out of the house, or you can choose to forgive and move on with your life. Your boss can reject your project proposal, and you may have no control over that, but your reaction is your choice. You can become moody all day and treat all customers with hostility; or you can choose to take your proposal elsewhere where it will be recieved with enthusiasm.
Mind your attitude. Your success depends so much on that! The more enthusiastic we are, the more productive we become. The more persistent we are, the more successful we become.
