God is Faithful

Life would be easy and pleasant if everyone around us was faithful and genuine.

Unfortunately, too often people are not what they appear to be. One moment they are a true friend , the next moment they become the traitor. Ever been let down by someone that you really trusted? Betrayal is no news, it's as common as the setting of the sun every other day. Yet common though it maybe, no words can quite explain the depth of the pain that it causes.

Jesus faced betrayal too, from his very close disciple; a man who had walked with him for many years. As much as it is sad to accept the reality that people can let us down, we can take great comfort in the knowledge that God is faithful, reliable and dependable. The only one who can never let us down; for he is totally incapable of letting down anyone who puts his confidence in him. "For the Lord will not forsake his people. He will not abandon his heritage" Psalm 94;14

Take comfort in the assurance that as much as people are capable of abandoning you, God is incapable of forsaking you. No matter what happens, as long as you continue to look up to him for help, GOD REMAINS FAITHFUL forever.

Trust God with your life today. Surrender all your cares and concerns to him. He is FAITHFUL; he will never let you down.
