When it's all been said and done.

You may never get to reach your full potential in life if you are a people driven person, not a purpose driven person.

Half the time your decision whether to do something or not can be heavily influenced by the people around you. It's good to take good influence from others, but if you allow people to dictate the pace at which you do things in your life, you may fail to get far in life. Decisions about your life are best taken by you, and not pressured in by the crowd. You do not get married because everyone thinks it's high time you got married. You do not change your career because everyone thinks it's cool to change professions.

Poeple who make it in life have developed the skill of self assurance and assertiveness. They know what they want and they will do what it takes to get it. Jesus came on earth with a special and specific mission, and he followed it through no matter what the people around him thought about him. "what good can come out of Nazareth?" (John 1:46), the people around him mocked. Yet he was firm and remained steadfast until his purpose was achieved.

Listen; you need to stop listening to all those words of discouragement. Pray and ask God to show you your purpose today. Pursue your purpose with all your energy and zeal. You may never find true happiness until you start pursuing your real purpose in life.

Forget what people say, because when it's all been said and done, all that matters is what God will say to you.
