Instead of "God Why Me"

Almost anyone can praise God when things are well in their life, but it takes real courage to be able to praise him when everything seems to be falling apart.

It is difficult, but possible to praise God when life's sorrows establish their reign in your life. A graduating student can easily say "Praise be to God!", but a student who has dismally failed final exams and can no longer graduate will usually cry "God why me?". A happily married person will find it easy to shout praises to God, whilst those stuck in unhappy marriages may find it easy to just cry out; "Till when O God?".

You need to ask God for the courage to praise him even when things are not moving in your life. You need to get to a point when you can say;- "I will praise the LORD at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth"(Psalm 34:1)

Praising God through our trials and tragedies help us to remain focused, and keep us from becoming bitter. Unless you develop that spirit of praise, you may hang on to grudges that eat away at your spirit. You might always cry about past failures and losses.

Praise will help you to let go of the past hurts and pains, and embrace the promises that God has for your future. God's presence is made so obvious during praise. When you praise God through harsh times, you will begin to see the great things that the Lord has done and is still doing in your life.

So stop crying foul; Instead of "God Why me?", let it be;-    "Praise be to God!"
