People come and people go

As you journey through life; many people from different walks of life will walk into your life and exit from your life.

Remember that sweet little friend of yours from the grade one class? Where is she/he now? Remember that big old cousin, who used to stand up for you and defend you as you sailed through your childhood; where is he/she now? What happened to that girl you dated for many years; she turned around and married someone else, and boy did it hurt so bad! Sad though it maybe, but the reality of life is that noone maintains a permanent presence in our lives. It doesn't matter how much we trust them or need them; at some point parting is inevitable. They can move to another city, or die, or change all of a sudden or just grow distant. It's good to rely on others; but it's dangerous to put all your trust and hope in people. People change, they can let you down big time, even without meaning to. "Jesus did not trust in men, he knew what was in man" John 2; 25.

Tired of being let down? You have been putting your trust in the wrong people. People come and people go, only Jesus Christ is there to stay in your life. He will never leave for another city, he will not change all of a sudden and abandon you, he will not die and leave you behind. Put all your hope and trust in him, he will never let you down.

Now, don't hesitate any longer, put all your trust in God. He will never ever let you down, or leave you.
