Who do you Listen to?
There are so many voices that speak to us when we are going through difficult times.
Friends come to us with advice and proposed solutions to our problems. Workmates, fellow students and neighbors all have something to say. There is nothing wrong with getting advice or encouragement from others; but if you rely solely on what others say you may be sidetracked from God's purpose for your life. Have you talked to God about that difficult situation that you are facing today? Yes you might have phoned all your friends and relatives, but have you talked to God about it? People might have said a lot of things about your situation, but what has God to say about it? The Bible in John 10 vs 27 says that; "My sheep hear my voice". Do you hear God's voice speaking to you about your situation? God speaks to us, but sometimes we are too pre-occupied with other things, and we fail to hear his voice. So, before you make that final decision, consult God first. Spend time alone in prayer, reading and meditating on the word.
Therefore, do not hurry to make decisions or choices without consulting God first.
