Confidence will keep you going

Guilt has a way of pulling us down, and making us lose confidence in all our efforts to stay clean.

Are you struggling with a bad habit that you can't give up? Maybe sometimes you are successful, but before you know it, you fall again. There are so many bad tendencies in us that we continue to struggle with everyday. But, that does not mean that we have failed in our efforts to live a pure life. Embrace this encouragement from the Bible - Phillipians 1 vs 6 " I am confident of this very thing that, he who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it". It doesn't matter what you are struggling with; you could be married yet you can't resist lusting over every good looking woman or man you come across. Maybe you are struggling to give up pre-marital sex, alcohol or smoking. Be yeah confident of this that God who began a good work in you will not abandon you as an unfinished project. So keep trying your best, keep praying and let God complete the good work he is doing in you.

SO remember; when guilt keeps pulling you down, confidence in God will lift you up. God always completes what he starts!
