Comfort ye, comfort ye.....

News agencies report on anxiety gripping Zimbabwe as Zimbabweans await the outcome of March 29.

 

Some reports are far from the truth and others over exaggerated. Be that as it may, if the truth be said, the hardest hit are the people on the ground. Citizens who endured long queues to exercise their right to vote, whose future, they feel, will be determined by their vote.

 

In the words of the Prophet Isaiah:

1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem (Zimbabwe), and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins. Isaiah 40.1

 

We are hopeful for a better Zimbabwe. Long live Zimbabwe - May the peace of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ prevail. Amen
