Yet Another Feather in the Cap

Feba Zimbabwe has achieved yet another feat as one of its own has been honoured again.

Munyaradzi Chimwara a producer with Feba Zimbabwe was presented with the Journalistic and Media Award for HIV/Aids Reporter 2006. The award is in recognition of the work being done through the programme Signs of Hope a 30 minute interview programme that discusses HIV/Aids issues.

The National Journalistic and Media Awards (NJAMA) are an annual event oragnised by the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists (ZUJ) to encourage quality and professional reporting amongst journalists. NJAMA draws support from over 20 corporate sponsors including among them UNAIDS, CIDA and UNDP.

This award comes hardly two months after Munyaradzi scooped the Girl Child Network (GCN) Journalist of the Year Award for the programme Critical Voices.

The HIV/Aids award is sponsored by UNAIDS.
