International Purpose and Vision Statement
We are here to communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Particularly with radio and programme follow-up, in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. The desired effect is that through the power of the Holy Spirit individuals and families may be reconciled to God, become followers of Jesus Christ, grow in Christian understanding, and be responsible members of His Church and of society.
Feba International's 2010 Vision
"Partnering, Responding, Transforming"
To fulfil the Great Commission in partnering with the Church, we expect three quarters of our responding audience to be other than committed believers, a quarter of them coming into fellowship with believers.
To accomplish this all our national councils commit to
- Strategic partnerships to accomplish the most effective media ministry we can with the least amount of money
- Work with others to see church growth
- Community based ministry
- Developing effective follow-up strategies
- Moving from shortwave to local outlets, as opportunities arise
- Giving priority to: least reached people, persecuted Christians, new Christians, and nominal Christians, people in physical, emotional, and social need
- Empowering indigenous believers to use media in ministry
- Formative, process, impact and outcome evaluation techniques
- Ongoing research that keeps us acting proactively and appropriately.
- Discipling and mentoring indigenous workers.
