Have you ever prayed so hard for something and it seemed as if nothing was moving? It feels hopeless and painful - doesn't it just?

There are certain experiences in life that can leave you feeling rejected, and abandoned. Countless losses and disappointments have a way of disarming us and leaving us feeling weak.

You could be mourning over a lost beloved one, a lost job or a missed opportunity. Listen, there is a God who wants to carry your burdens for you. He cares for you no matter what you are going through right now. Pour out your sorrows and pains to him, for he is personally concerned about your welfare.
(1 Peter 5:7)

If there was a visual screen that displays what goes on in your mind and heart; what story would it reveal about your life? A happy story or a sad one?

When a tyre goes flat, the car can no longer proceed. It can not say to the flat tyre "Stay behind, we will proceed without you!"

As members of one body, when one part suffers we all suffer together. The head can not sya to the leg because you are not feeling well, I will leave you at home and proceed to go to school! That's why it is so important that we stand together as families, organisations and nations. We all need each other.

Its good to be self sufficient, but you can only do so much on your own. We all need a hand from others one way or the other.

Ever needed a push start? Realised that you could not do it all by yourself, huh? God did not put only one person on this planet because he knew that people need company, people need one another. We need to function as a body, everyone playing specific roles, no part of the body is less significant. Neither can any part of the body function alone.  

Life can be hard and so painful, that we lose all hope and only look forward to going to heaven where our peace and joy is guaranteed.

God did not promise us that life would be easy, but he surely promised that he would walk with us every step of the way. Therefore, even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, let's not fear evil, for God is indeed with us!

Sometimes painful and shameful experiences from our past can continue to linger and hold us back from moving forward.

Life would be lonely and empty if we had to sail through it in isolation. We all need friends to share life's exeperiences with.

It's easy to get so hooked up in our daily pressures and challenges that we tend to forget that there are people around us who need us.

Almost anyone can praise God when things are well in their life, but it takes real courage to be able to praise him when everything seems to be falling apart.
